LOCATIONS

If you find yourself in Louisville, Kentucky, and have a craving for authentic New York-style pizza, look no further than Old School N.Y. Pizza. Nestled at 12907 Factory Ln g, this pizza joint has quickly gained a devoted following for its classic offerings that transport diners straight to the bustling streets of Manhattan with every bite.

One taste of Old School N.Y. Pizza will have you reminiscing about that first bite of a crisp, chewy slice from a New York sidewalk vendor. Customers rave about the thin crust that balances a delightful crunch with a tender chewiness, providing the perfect canvas for their high-quality toppings. Reviewers like Ron de Leon hail it as the "best New York style pizza outside of New York," particularly praising the unique white sauce paired with fresh tomato and spinach.

The variety here is also commendable. Whether you're in the mood for classic cheese and pepperoni slices or something a little more adventurous like the cheeseburger pizza, there’s something for everyone. Justin Shircliff points out the great value in the option to buy pizza by the slice, allowing you to mix and match flavors without breaking the bank. With slices available for less than $10 including a drink, it’s an enticing lunch option that’s hard to resist.

The ambiance of Old School N.Y. Pizza complements the food well. The open space is filled with friendly staff, who are dedicated to providing quick and attentive service. Matt Peace, a first-time visitor, noted that despite a busy Friday night, the staff maintained professionalism while working hard to deliver delicious pizzas. This balance of efficiency and warmth creates a welcoming atmosphere ideal for a casual meal with friends or family.

Diners also speak highly of the additional offerings, like their delightful cannolis—a sweet finish to any pizza feast—and the infamous fifth Owens, which seem to have captured the hearts (and stomachs) of many. As Nicholas Stanton suggests, you won’t just want to stop by once; you’ll find yourself returning to explore more of their diverse menu.

So, if you're in the area and have a longing for authentic New York pizza, consider visiting Old School N.Y. Pizza. It promises more than just a meal; it offers nostalgia and the flavors that make NYC’s pizza a culinary phenomenon. As Kristen Tingle aptly puts it, “It feels just like walking down the streets of Manhattan.” Don’t wait—stop reading and grab a slice! Your taste buds will thank you.

Hands down, best New York style pizza outside of New York that I had. It reminds me of NYC after taking a bite. I wish there’s one closer to me in Indy. This will be my go to pizza place from now on when I visit Louisville. The white sauce with tomato and spinach is a must! Stop reading now and order a pizza!

I’m always looking for good pizza and just came across this place in my search, and I’m glad I did. The pizza here is really good, and you can buy it by the slice which is always a nice option. I went with a cheese slice and a pepperoni slice, plus a drink, which was all under 10. The slices were firm and crispy, with a sauce that tasted very New York pizza-ish. The space is open with lots of seating. The service was fast and friendly. I’ll be back here for sure.

This is the closest thing to New York street corner pizza as it gets in Kentucky. Anytime I go in for a slice, it feels just like walking down the streets of Manhattan to get a thin, crunchy flavorful slice of pizza. Will be back for more.

First time as I was traveling out of town. Placed the order online which was easy. The pizza took a little longer than I thought but it was Friday night and they had 8 people working hard. Both the young lady working the counter, and the guy that brought out my Pizza to me were nice. The pizza was really good. Loved the dough.
